Organic Herbs • Simple Ingredients • Whole Plant

You’ll find that the ingredients in these products are simple. I believe that animals (that includes humans, too) are highly sensitive creatures. We’ve only become numb to those sensitivities (some of us that is) because it’s unavoidable in the modern civilization we’re living in. That doesn’t mean we can’t make better decisions, though. Our bodies aren’t meant to be a dumping ground for harsh chemicals and toxins that weren’t ever a part of our day to day until recently. In the beginning, we used plants to heal us, and I believe plants can still do that for us if we let them. My products are made of oils and vinegars, all infused with plants (for 4 weeks) that can soothe skin. There are no essential oils being used because I don’t think they’re necessary, especially on our smaller mammal friends. A dog has 300 million olfactory (scent) receptors in their nose compared to our 6 million. Can you imagine having strong concentrated plant oils put on you with a nose like that? Due to the fact that I don’t use essential oils, please do not expect a strong scent in the products you receive. Most likely, you won’t smell anything. The strongest “scented” product in this line is the dry shampoo because there is ground lavender mixed in.

Most of these products can be used on dogs, cats, and humans, but please be sure to read carefully when shopping. As with anything, use common sense when using something new on your pet. If there is a negative reaction, don’t use it again. These products are not meant to treat, diagnose, or replace medical care, please see a doctor and/or veterinarian if necessary.

Everything is earth friendly and biodegradable, so feel good using them when you’re out in the great outdoors.

Thank you again for choosing to give your pet (and maybe yourself) better options!

Shampoo Bar + Rinse

This pair work together to not only cleanse your pet, but to also moisturize, heal, and protect skin/fur from the harsh elements of our environment. All ingredients in these products can be used on cats and dogs. If you are using the shampoo bar be sure to use the rinse as well. Think of the rinse as a conditioner that can also remove build up! It leaves hair soft and shiny. The rinse can be used alone if your dog is suffering from dry skin. Do not use on wounds or broken skin, OUCH. It’s recommended you not wash your dog more than once per month to avoid drying out their natural oils. Please use our dry shampoo if you find yourself with a stinky puppy before then!

Shampoo Bar: To use thoroughly rinse your pet with water, being sure to soak animals that have a double/triple coat completely. Build a lather in your dog/cat’s fur (a little goes a long way, don’t overuse!) and work into the rest of the body. Rinse completely, being sure to get ALL soap out of fur to avoid drying skin. Ingredients: Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Safflower Oil, Castor Oil, Sodium Hydroxide (Lye), White Vinegar, Dried Herbs of Neem, Calendula, Lavender, Chamomile, Yarrow

Rinse: Before starting your pet’s bath, mix 1/4 cup of Rinse with a quart of water (I go warmer than usual so it’s a good temperature when I pour it on them). After doing the shampoo process above, pour the rinse down their back, chest (avoid those ears!), and any areas that are prone to dandruff + itchy dry skin. Push the rinse down through their fur. Once you’re done DO NOT RINSE WITH WATER. Towel and air dry.

This rinse is human friendly too! I use it 2x a week to remove build up and condition my hair. Do not apply to scalp if you have oily roots. I pour about halfway down my hair length and squeeze down to the ends.

Ingredients: Apple Cider Vinegar, Dried Herbs of Lavender, Chamomile, Neem

Both products are safe for dogs, cats, and humans, though I prefer not to use it on my own skin due to it having such a light lather (on human skin). This product is not meant to diagnose, treat, or replace medical attention in anyway. Please use at your own discretion.

Skin Salve

This is a simple salve that is great for a multitude of issues. Put this on your pet’s hot spots, dry skin, minor cuts/scrapes, rashes, sore paws, dry nose, etc. To avoid licking (it’s fine if they lick, but defeats the purpose!) apply at night when your animal has settled (or whenever for cats because..cats) and if they still lick, cover the area for the night. Cover paws with socks/booties, bodies with bandages or clothing, etc.

Ingredients: Olive Oil, Beeswax, Dried Herbs of Calendula, Lavender, Yarrow, Comfrey Root.

Comfrey Root is toxic to the liver if large amounts are taken orally. There is only a small amount in this salve, so licking should not effect your animal. Comfrey Root is a beautiful healer of all things skin, bones, muscles, etc, it’s an important player in this salve.

Safe for dogs, cats, and humans. This product is not meant to diagnose, treat, or replace medical attention in anyway. Please use at your own discretion.

Dry Shampoo

Washing your dog frequently is not recommended due to the drying effect it has on their natural oils. You also might find yourself in a situation where you don’t have a way to bathe your dog but they STINK. This dry shampoo will be so helpful! It has simple (SO SIMPLE) ingredients and is easy to apply. Neem has been added to help prevent those fleas from latching on as well. Please put dry shampoo on your dog in an open area (preferably outside) to avoid inhalation. Sprinkle down the back of your dog and massage into fur, apply elsewhere as needed.

Pro Tip: When you get your bottle find an old spice container (clean, please!) and pour some in there. It’s much easier to sprinkle that way and can help you avoid a mess! Oh, and it’ll be easier to take when you’re out hiking because we all know, those dogs are searching for some good bear poop to roll in.

Ingredients: Cornstarch, Baking Soda, Dried Herbs Lavender, Chamomile, Neem

Safe for dogs and humans. This product is not meant to diagnose, treat, or replace medical attention in anyway. Please use at your own discretion.

Ear Cleaner

It doesn’t take long for your dog’s ears to start smelling a bit yeasty, especially if they’re active and are playing in snow/water. If your dog has allergies, well they’re very likely to experience the same issues. Dogs with floppy ears? They’re 100% going to have issues with this yeast and ear infections! Your best bet is prevent those issues from coming up to begin with. I clean my dogs’ ears with this solution 1-2x weekly to prevent infections from popping up. Our English Springer absolutely needs them cleaned 2+ times a week and our boxers are sensitive, so their ears get yeasty fast.

To clean your dog’s ears with this solution simply take a cotton ball and drop the liquid onto the ball until it’s mostly saturated on one side. Wipe out the inside of your dog’s ear and remove any visible gunk you see. DO NOT GO INTO THE EAR CANAL. Do the same for the opposite side. Keep a watch your pup’s ears and you’ll soon know how often you need to do this to prevent any infections or build up.

Ingredients: Apple Cider Vinegar, Distilled Water, Calendula, Chamomile, Yarrow

Safe for dogs and cats. This product is not meant to diagnose, treat, or replace medical attention in anyway. Please use at your own discretion.

Nail + Wound Powder

Ever cut your dog’s nails too far and then panic trying to find something to stop the bleeding? Or what about when you’re out and about in the wilderness? Your pup slips and cuts themselves on a sharp rock and you’re without anything to help the wound to clot. That’s why I made this nail and wound powder. Yarrow is the main ingredient and known for it’s ability to slow bleeding both internally and externally. In fact, this amazing herb was used during times of war to stop bleeding and heal wounds through out history all the way up to WWl. I’ve also aded calendula as an antiseptic to help with the possibility of infection.

To use, apply powder directly to the wound (or end of nail) being sure to cover all bleeding areas. Do not remove the powder once it’s caked. The yarrow can/will actually become a part of the scab and will come off when it’s ready.

Please take your dog to the vet if you believe they need medical attention. This powder is not meant to replace any medical care and is only meant to be used on superficial wounds or during emergencies to give you time to get to the vet for appropriate medical treatment.

Ingredients: Yarrow, Calendula

Safe for dogs, cats, and humans. This product is not meant to diagnose, treat, or replace medical attention in anyway. Please use at your own discretion.
